1. What cookies are

Cookies and browser storage are small pieces of text saved on your own device when you use a website. They let the app remember that it is you between one page and the next, and keep the way you like it looking.

2. Every cookie we set

This is the complete list for your account. There is nothing else.

__session / sid	Strictly necessary	5 days	An encrypted, HttpOnly cookie that proves to our server that you are signed in. Without it you would have to sign in on every page.
prepitup_theme / theme	Functional	1 year	Remembers whether you chose light, dark or your device's own setting.
prepitup_sidebar	Functional	30 days	Remembers whether you left the side menu open or collapsed.

Your browser also holds the email address you last asked a sign-in link for, so the link works when you open it. That is stored on your device only, and it is cleared as soon as the link is used.

3. Turning them off

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the session cookie means you will not be able to sign in, because there is nothing else keeping you signed in. Blocking the other two only loses your theme and menu preference.
